About Us
The College of Computer Studies (CCS) of the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology is a center for development in information technology education. Through various programs of the college, it is committed to students to become inventors, software engineers, programmers, analysts, and innovators among other technologically oriented workforce.
To this end, it offers degree programs in the graduate and undergraduate levels. These programs are carried through in-campus, online, or blended delivery. Under the banner of computing discipline, the following programs are offered:

Computer science
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Understand and appreciate the implementation and use of computing systems, study its architecture and its interactions of hardware and software. Learn and develop strategies for effective design and their applications.
Information Technology
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
The program aspires for students to develop software applications in desktop, web, mobile and various platforms as well as identify and implement methods and practices to manage data infrastructure in IT. It also covers designing, implementing, and evaluating computer-based systems and processes to meet information technology-based needs of industries.
Bachelor of Science in Information System
Understand and analyze information systems in the context of business applications and apply skills in a various range of settings. Learn the concept of using IT to model and solve problems in the evolving information-driven landscape.
Computer applications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Application
Understand the design & development of hardware devices and software programs through specialized skills in Embedded System and Internet of Things (IoT). To sharpen the mathematical analysis and produce patentable innovations to cater the demands of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in helping to solve the emerging and future global problems.
