JEMS on its second win during JBI Case Analysis Competition 2019

The Junior Entrepreneurial Marketing Society (JEMS) has once again been hailed as the champion for the Ang Henyong Marketista – Case Analysis Competition during the Juan Big Idea – Mindanao, hosted by the Philippine Junior Marketing Association held at the Folk Arts Theater, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last March 17, 2019.
Down to its last destination after completing a series of learning caravan to Luzon and Visayas, Juan Big Idea: Ang Pagtuklas ng Makabagong Marketista held its last leg in Mindanao with over nine (9) schools participated in the said event, including MSU-IIT. The one-day event was a blast of hustle bustle in the advantage of the participants as it was composed of informative and significant talks/presentations by the invited speakers coming from some notable companies in the Philippines, marketing related competitions held in between, and a job fair exclusive only for the participants. The invited speakers of the event include Mr. Walter de Jesus, brand manager of One Mega Group Inc., Mr. Carlo Jao, social management director of McCann World Group Philippines, Mr. Mark Anthony Pascua, research manager of Kanta Media Philippines, and Mr. Ali Silao, Head of Art, BBDO Guerrero. The scope of topics during the discussion/talk covered a great extent about branding and the use of social media in marketing.
Moving forward with the program, the chosen top three (3) participating schools, Central Mindanao University, MSU-IIT and Xavier University, presented their entries for the Case Analysis Competition which was sponsored by BMG Outsourcing Inc. and is considered to be one of the main highlights of the whole event.
During the awarding ceremony, delegates of MSU-IIT were declared as champion and below are the following marketing students who participated in the said competition:

In addition, the following is the placement of the top three (3) schools with MSU-IIT in the leading position:
MSU-IIT – 89 %
Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan – 86.2%
Central Mindanao University – 79.49%
This year’s victory marks the second consecutive win of MSU-IIT since the last Juan Big Idea held in the New City Hall of Tagum Atrium, Tagum City last March 11, 2018.
