MSU-IIT opened its Tabo sa Pasko sa IIT on Decembr 9, 2013 at the lobby of the Mini-theatre. It is a week-long celebration that marks the Christmas season in MSU-IIT.

But the celebration this year is scaled down in keeping with the recent tragedy that hit the Leyte Samar areas during typhoon Yolanda earlier in November.

The celebration opened with an Opening Program at the Institute flagpole area and followed with the ribbon cutting by MSU-IIT officials to formally open the Tabo sa Pasko 2013. Stalls were set –up for sellers at the first floor hallway of the Main Library building.

The “tabo “ is a trade event where entrepreneurs sell their products or services to MSU-IIT constituents. The proceeds from the space rentals for this year’s “ Tabo sa Pasko “ were earmarked as funds for the Typhoon Yolanda victims.

About 18 entrepreneurs participated in the ‘tabo”.
