Following the success of the “The Hall Shoppe” launching at the TBI building, the Entrep 197 class of the Department of Marketing conducted a one-day trade fair at Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City on March 18 to showcase the products they developed for their practicum.

Dubbed as FREBAzaar Centrio 2017, the event was participated by the student business startups EncaseArtsy PotsieCreo NotesHoraz NotepadsModerno BagsWoodworksCura Bags, and Bristle Board.

Strategically located at the third floor bridgeway of the Centrio Mall, the studentpreneurs were warmly applauded by customers as they proudly displayed their products that range from engineered bamboo cellphone case to customized journals and notepads, bags, clay pots, and wood-based desk organizers.  Some alumni visited the bazaar and commended the products, as well as local Kagay-anons who commented on how remarkable the products are and lauded the bazaar in general.

Entrep 197 – The Learning Company is a practicum course for graduating BSBA Entrepreneurial Marketing students, wherein they are expected to implement their approved business plans for 4 and a half months. Apart from the usual challenge of starting a business, the students are expected to increase the business startup visibility and market share.
