The MSciEd-Physics students of the PhysEd 290 class under Prof. Antonieto S. Semorlan shared their expertise in seminars at the ICT Lab of the College of Education, MSU-IIT, and the Looc National High School, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental, last February 20 and February 27, 2010, respectively.
Twenty nine science majors of the CED participated in the seminar on the “Utilization of the Art of Questioning and Interactive Simulations to Enhance Science Learning,” discussed by Ms. Marylyn H. Refugio and Ms. Emmie J. Prince. Refugio also spoke on the “Art of Questioning” while Prince discussed “Interactive Simulations.”
A week after, Ms. Honeylet B. Nocon and Ms. Lani T. Ortillo facilitated the seminar on the “Impact of Educational Tricks and Games in Classroom Teaching” attended by 14 participants from among Science and Mathematics teachers. Nocon discussed “Science Tricks” while Ortillo shared her insights about “Game-Based Learning.”
