The MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) celebrates its 43rd Charter Day on July 4-12, 2011 with the theme, “MSU-IIT: Going Beyond Borders.”
All sectors of the MSU-IIT especially the KASAMA, the faculty and staff, its schools and colleges are in charge of various activities that include the Opening Program, Tabo, Night Café, Open Exhibits and Fair of Organizations, a Mardi Gras Parade, a Cultural Night (“Gabi ng Sining),” Symposiums and Forums, Evening Socials (“IIT Got Talent”), Fun Run, Alumni Homecoming, and the Service and Special Awards of IIT’s faculty and staff who have distinguished themselves in their various disciplines.
On July 12, or on Charter Day, a Motorcade around the city proper will precede the opening program at the Gymnasium.This year’s Charter Day celebration is auspicious with its newly-elected Chancellor, Dr. Sukarno D. Tanggol.
Chair of this year’s Charter Day celebration is Professor Ernesto E. Empig, Dean of the School of Computer Studies.
