Dr. Ephrime B. Metillo of the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) is going to Japan on March 7, 2014 upon the invitation of the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) Asian Core Program for Research and Education in Southeast Asia.
Metillo will be conducting a Stable Isotopes Analysis Studies there. He will stay in Japan until April 2, 2014.
Prof. Jamelyn B. Palattao of the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) will leave for Germany in April to present her research paper at a conference there.
Pallatao will read her paper entitled, “Contemporary Responses of Urban Protestants to the Challenge of Secularism in Iligan City, Philippines” at the International Conference in Urban Spaces to be held in Gottingen.
Palattao’ s trip and stay will be shouldered by The Georg-August-University of Gottingen.
The conference will run from April 9 to 11, 2014. (OPI)
