It was a Who’s Who in Philippine Performing Arts and Entertainment. But what can be a more appropriate way to celebrate 114 years of Philippine Independence than to gather the best Philippine talents in one show.

The Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) joined this bevy of acclaimed Filipino artists when MSU-IIT’s flagship cultural company performed for the Kalayaan Cultural Event last June 12 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
Among the luminaries who performed were legends Pilita Corrales, Dulce, Isay Alvarez, Pinky Marquez, actor Bimbo Cerrudo, singer Noel Cabangon, Gil Lopez Kabayao and his family ensemble, top Philippine performing companies Ballet Philippines, Shirley Halili Ballet, Opera Belles, PhilStagers, and entertainment stars Eric Santos, Robbie Domingo, Megan Young, Bugoy, and Elizabeth Ramsey.
Mindanao talents included Miss Philippines’ Shamsey Supsup, Joey Ayala, Mebuyan Peace Project, Waway Saway, and MSU’s Sining Kambayoka.

Maestro Chino Toledo conducted the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra.
The concert which was telecast nationwide celebrated with the theme “Kalayaan: Pananagutan ng Bayan para sa Tuwid na Daan.” Producer was the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP).
IPAG’s was led by its Artistic Director Steven Patrick C. Fernandez with artists Melvin Pascubillo, Leilani Fernandez, Kenn Erwin Velasquez, Eleanor Lila, Lilybeth Maraon, Dianne Therese Marie Clemente, Michael John Lagura, John Vincent Espenido, Blesy Cece, Kassandhra Evanna Suazon, Herminegildo Dico, Mohammad Shariff Feme Lapinia, Christian Faith Panuncialman, and Arlem M.
