The members of Iligan Community of Learning Action Research (ICoLAR) Project convened once again for the realization of their classroom-based researches through an Action Research Writeshop on December 12, 2009 at World Links Training Center, CED, MSU-IIT. Enthusiastic elementary and secondary teachers collaborated with some faculty members of the College of Education in coming up with action researches that reflect the familiar problems encountered in the course of instruction and on how ICT integration effect significant changes and improvement in the performance of students. Dr. Ruben L. Abucayon, a faculty member of CED, presented and shared some insights on writing an action research while Prof. Amelia T. Buan served as the writeshop manager. The said activity is the second to the last of the five phases which started in July 2009. The final phase of which will be the presentation of the research output during the Teachers’ Forum on January 22, 2010.

A total of 21 teachers from DepEd together with Dr. Colita E. Pepito, ES-1 in Science and 10 other faculty members from the College of Education headed by the ICoLAR Team leader, Dr. Myrna E. Lahoylahoy joined and teamed up in the said activity. Among the DepEd teachers who made it in the writeshop are the following: Clotelde T. Babia, Debbie C. Sullaga, Eden L. Titular, Emma G. Sajol, Esterlita A. Llanes, Joel Q. Galibo, Leonila B. Dinglasan, Nancy B. Pelare, Rizel B. Pancipanci, Teresita S. Libumfacil, Consuelo L. Razo, Elaine S. Daganga, Erlinda B. Reyes, Julieta L. Buan, Prof. Monera Salic-Hairulla, Prof. Joy R. Magsayo, Prof. Sotero O. Malayao, Jr., Ellen L. Jarantilla, Vita P. Sinconiegue, Vanessa S. Balisco, and Rey Etom.
