Anticipating the establishment of an Art Institute in the MSU-IIT, the Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) through its education outreach — the IPAG Artists Resource Management (IPAG-ARM) – conducts a series of multi-media lectures on the Arts, Culture, and the Humanities.

First in the line-up is a lecture on the “General Principles in the Teaching and Learning of the Humanities” on April 29, 9:00 a.m., at the MSU-IIT Mini-Theatre. Lecturer is Dr. Steven Patrick Fernandez, DFA, founder and Artistic Director of the IPAG and Professor of the Humanities.

For teachers and students, the lecture sweeps through the study of the Humanities and suggests methods for the subject’s appreciation. It anchors on lessons in the textbook The Human Image in the Arts: Introduction to the Humanities (authored by Fernandez and published by the MSU-IIT Department of English and the IPAG-ARM), used as basic resource in Humanities classes in the MSU-IIT.
