             Education LET passers recognition

A twofold celebration was held at CED Amphitheater in the afternoon of November 28, 2008: a thanksgiving ceremony of the College of education being the No. 2 Performing School in the recent Licensure Examination for Teachers in both Elementary and Secondary Levels and a recognition ceremony for the new professional teachers.

The program, which was attended by MSU-IIT Chancellor Marcelo P. Salazar, representative from the Office of the Vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, the passers and CED faculty and staff was spearheaded by the College of Education Dean Dr. Lydie D. Paderanga and the college LET Review Committee.

In his inspirational talk, Chancellor  Salazar stressed out that a life of an IITian is not just passing a licensure  examination but above all giving the best in each one’s undertaking to make  simple yet significant contributions in the society and in the country as a  whole. Dr. Alita Roxas , the OIC of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for  Academic Affairs also congratulated the College of Education  and the LET passers for giving such an honor to MSU-IIT. Two inspiring testimonial  speeches were also given by the passers.

The event was concluded with the awarding of certificates of recognition to the new professional teachers and a fellowship where snacks were served.
