The College of Engineering (COE), in cooperation with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research & Extension (OVCRE), hosts the Symposium on Industrial Waste Water Management at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Mini-theatre.
The lecturer is Chemical Engineer, Manuel I. Gloria who is also this year’s 42nd Commencement Speaker.
One of the country’s experts in wastewater management in high strength and toxic or hazardous industrial wastewater, Gloria is President and Chief Design Engineer of his own company, the Aquatreat Environmental Systems, Inc..
Gloria took third place in the Philippine PRC Board Exam for Chemical Engineers. He finished his BS in Chemical Engineering at the St. Louis University, cum laude, an MS in Chemical Engineering, and Post Graduate studies in Environmental Management Engineering both at the Katholieke Universiteit te Leuvne in Louvain, Belgium under a Scholarship Grant from the Belgian Ministry of Education and Culture.
