A group of graduate students of the College of Education, MSU-IIT successfully conducted a participatory rapid appraisal for community development to 53 Adult ALS learners on December 2, 2019 at Ubaldo D. Laya Memorial Central School, Barangay Ubaldo Laya, Iligan City.
This activity is an avenue for the graduate students to employ their knowledge to contribute to the well-being and advancement of communities and the society. The activities were conducted through practical analysis in real life scenario making rooms for mental growth and development. Furthermore, during the activities, learner-participants engaged in a whole new process of immersion which led them to embrace new learning and opportunities.
This community extension program is is headed by the CED Community Extension Program Coordinator, Dr. Rizalina Gomez together with CED-DPRE faculty members, Dr. Ronaldo Orbita, Dr. Angeline P. Dinoro, Prof. Rebecca Galela and Prof. Juliet C. Tero, in partnership with DepEd Iligan City Division through the Principal of the said school, Dr. Roberto D. Napiere, Jr.
