The MSU-IIT College of Education (CED) has again raised its flag of excellence in research with the triumph of one of its faculty members in the Asian Conference in Education in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr. Rizalina G. Gomez, an ICT instruction expert of the Department of Professional Education, won the Diamond distinction for garnering First Place as Asia’s Best Publication, a feat confirmed by the International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) International Journal of Education. Her winning paper entitled “Adherence in the Use of ICT for Classroom Instruction: Its Impact on Student’s Learning” was presented last May 28-30, 2012 in this conference.
Dr. Gomez was also among “Asia’s Best” in her Powerpoint presentation (“Platinum” for Second Place) and Asia’s Best Dressed Researcher (“Diamond” for First Place).
More than a hundred delegates from twenty-two participating countries from all over Asia attended the conference that tackled the theme “Multidisciplinary research for a better quality of life for human societies.” Thirty-six researchers came from different academic institutions in the Philippines.
