Sixteen faculty members from the College of Education (CED) completed a training-workshop on the development of Web-Enhanced Learning Activities (WELA) last October 18-19, 2010 at the CED World Links Training Center.
The training was made possible through the Iligan Community of Learning Action Research (ICoLAR) Project led by Dr. Myrna E. Lahoylahoy.
Profs. Amelia T. Buan and Rhea D. Febro who conducted the training focused on developing a WebQuest, planned to be implemented in the second semester, which subsequent result is the conduct of research by the faculty. The training also tackled classroom-based action research, a major aim of the ICoLAR Project.
The activity, which ensures the use of new tools for learning, conduces a setting for action research.
