“We are one CED Family.”
A heartfelt message was emphasized by the College of Education Dean, Dr. Amelia T. Buan, during the 3-day team building and strategic planning held at camiguin Island on December 14-16, 2019.
The team building aimed to develop camaraderie and unity among faculty and staff to uphold effective teamwork in the achievement of organizational goal.
With the sun rising in the horizon, the 5-stage obstacle race began in the White island which was participated by 5 groups of teachers. Among the challenges were bridge the ball, fill the bucket, bottle transfer, walk together, and balloon inflation by water which strengthened the friendship and bond of the faculty and staff.
Following the fun activities, each department of CED represented by the chairpersons showed firm commitment to the department plan for 2021 during the strategic planning.
“We aim to have a number of top passers aside from increasing the percentage of passers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers,” said Prof. Ma. Faye M. Fajardo, DPRE Chairperson.
These plans were drawn after realizing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of every department.
The chairpersons also presented feasible actions to materialize their plans. Moreover, the Dean advised them to submit project proposals so that their plans would be accounted for in the 2021 budget.
The 3-day activity was capped with a shared voice to continue their commitment to achieve the Mission, Vision and Goals of the Institute.
