Prof.
Juvanni A. Caballero of the History Department, CASS

Prof. Juvanni A. Caballero of the History Department, College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) delivered a paper during the International Symposium on Law and Morality held at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) in Kuala Lumpur last October 17-18, 2011.

Joining eleven other speakers from six countries, Caballero was the only Filipino scholar who presented a paper.

The symposium, sponsored by the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyah of Laws of the IIUM and the Malaysia-Turkey Cultural Association, gathered lawyers, law students, academicians, and law enforcers from Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Turkey, China, Sudan, and the Netherlands.

Caballero explained that the theme of the symposium– Human Conscience in the Development of Law, which intertwined with the development of history and human civilization — signified the relevance of his paper to the symposium because his subject related Law and Morality in the History of Human Civilization.
