Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension Dr. Jinky B. Bornales will fly to Germany on September 23, 2016 to attend a collaborative meeting with Technische Universitat Kaiserslautern (TU Kaiserslautern).

According to Special Order No. 1741-IIT issued on September 14, 2016, Bornales’s meeting at the TU Kaiserslautern is related to her ongoing research collaboration on polymer conformations.

Bornales is a faculty member of the Department of Physics of this Institute’s College of Science and Mathematics.

The said Order also mentions that while in Germany, Bornales will also attend another meeting regarding an “ongoing research in the molecular dynamical simulation of long-range interacting polymer chains”.

She will also attend a consultation meeting regarding an ongoing DAAD project with MSU-IIT and TU Kaiserslautern, the Order said.

The DAAD or German Academic Exchange Service is the largest German support organisation in the field of international academic cooperation. -RGO
