If audience attendance is any indication of the success of a run of a performance, then the 33rd Season road shows of the MSU-IIT Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) are on a roll.

Like in the previous shows, the December 5 and 6 performances of “Tales From Mindanao” and “SugaTula” filled the Batangas State University’s gymnasium in Malvar and Batangas City. These latest shows came on the heels of the first leg of road shows that drew unanimous praises from full houses.

“Tales” also performed to over 3,000 teacher-delegates of all school districts of Lanao del Norte at the Mindanao Civic Center in Tubod, the province’s capital, in December 14.

In all shows, IPAG received ecstatic responses including standing ovations.

The numbers are only one indication of the unassailable draw of IPAG shows. IPAG, toting its international reputation as a leading Philippine performing company, foresees more audiences to its shows when it continues its national tours in early 2011.

Besides “Tales,” the guild is slated to perform “Suhi,” “SugaTula,” and “Tatlo Sa Isa” around the archipelago before it closes its 33rd Season in March 2011.
