The international reputation of the Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG), flagship cultural company of the MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, has notched another mark with its recognition as a center of arts training by the Asia-Pacific Bureau Drama Schools Festival and Directors Conference.
IPAG has been invited to perform for the Asia-Pacific Festival on August 31 to September 6 at the Taipei National University of Arts (TNUA), Taiwan’s premiere arts and theatre institution.
This Bureau links with the International Theatre Institute (ITI) of the Paris-based UNESCO.

A component of the festival is a forum that gathers director-teachers from the Asia Pacific region to present pedagogies and showcase practices. IPAG Founder-Director Dr. Steven P. C. Fernandez will present a paper on the guild’s pedagogies and theatre practices.
IPAG will also conduct a series of workshops facilitated by its pedagogues Melvin Pascubillo, Leilani Fernandez, and Kenn Erwin Velasquez.

IPAG will perform a multi-media production entitled SugaTula (translated as Crossing Poetry) that displays the products of this pedagogy.
