The MSU-IIT Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM) in partnership with the GIZ Civil Peace Service Program organizes a PEACE MUSIC VIDEO CONTEST on the theme: the Peace Process between the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
IPDM’s Peace Music Video Contest aims at creating a platform for the youth of Iligan City and the Lanao provinces to promote peace through music videos in order to raise awareness that non-violence is not just a dream.
The contest is open to the youth aged 13-25 years old, residing in Iligan City and the Lanao provinces. Submit your entries by accomplishing the entry packet that is downloadable from the official website of MSU-IIT IPDM. http://www.msuiit.edu.ph/ipdm/
Registration is free. Deadline for submission is on August 31, 2013.
The top 10 finalists will be notified within the first two weeks of September. The awarding will take place at MSU-IIT on September 20, 2013, a day before the International Day of Peace.
